MALAYSIA SECOND HOME PROGRAMME
Starting from 1/4/2006 Malaysia government had revised the programme. It is now more flexible and attractive on financial, property and others criteria. If the application is been approved, the participant will get 10 years Social Visit Pass with Multiple Entry Visa.
MM2H BENEFITS
All approved applicants will enjoy special benefits approve by the Government for this unique program. The benefits include:
- You will receive a 10-year Social Visit Pass and Multiple-Entry Visa.
- After 10 years, it is guaranteed renewable if you didn’t violate the laws & rules of Malaysia.
- During these 10 years, you are free to stay in Malaysia and travel as often as you like.
- You can import your car or purchase a new car (CKD) tax-free. It is a great saving up to 33%.
- Going school children will be giving student pass to further their study at international colleges and universities.
- Bring in a maid from your country of origin to Malaysia after the approval.
- You can be an investor and own businesses in Malaysia.
- For housing loan, you can obtain up to 80% as compare to normal 60% for foreign applicants (subject to credibility).
- . No need to obtain Foreign Investment Committee (FIC) approval for purchasing properties in Malaysia.
- Oversea income is not taxable in Malaysia. Under this programme, for those countries has a `double taxation agreement’ with Malaysia, your private pension fund remitted to Malaysia is exempted from tax if you stayed more than 182 days in Malaysia.

- 4 pieces of photograph for applicant & dependant (if applicable)
- A photocopy of passport / travel document (all pages) for applicant and dependent (if applicable)
- A certified copy of Marriage Certificate
- A certified copy of children birth certificate
- 2 copies of Certified Foreign Income Statement
- A stamped Sponsor’s Personal Bond
- Sponsor’s statement form with copy of I/C
- Deposit for application
- Applicant below 50 years old only need to put in fixed deposit RM 300,000.00
- Applicant above 50 years old only need to put in fixed deposit RM 150,000.00 or provide proof of a monthly income of more than RM 10,000.00 from a source outside of Malaysia or pension scheme.
- The participant at any time after one year, can withdraw his /her fixed deposit to purchase property, children’s’ education or medical expenditure. However, he / she must maintain a minimal of RM 60,000.00 in his/her account.
- The participant needs to purchase Medical Insurance and do Medical Check-up in Malaysia.
- The participant eligible to purchase 2 residential houses.
- The participant allowed to import a car tax-free or purchasing a car with free sale tax in Malaysia.
- The participant allowed to do investment and business with limitation but cannot work.
- Other incentives.
